Breakfast Protein Shake
Easy, fast, and packed with complete protein and lactoferrin and immunoglubulin for immune support, relatively low in calories and excellent for those who need to lose a few pounds.
Basic Blender recipe for two adults:
- One cup of frozen organic blueberries or mixed berries (much cheaper at Costco in bulk)
- 2 scoops of Organic “Now” Whey Concentrate or, about half the cost, “True Nutrition” Whey Concentrate (not certified organic, but no chemicals, hormones or GMO). - Add coconut milk (or rice, almond or oat milk)
- Sweeten with maple syrup, honey or, (if you have any blood sugar problems), “Xylitol”, a natural sweetener that is safe even for patients with diabetes.
Of course, you can add any other fruit you like. This is an easy and highly nutritious addition to the predominantly plant based diet and it’s also delicious!
