Green Drink
Nutrient dense greens are at the core of the predominantly plant based diet. This is the easiest way to supplement relatively large amounts of these vegetables with all of their fiber, in addition to salads and cooked vegetables.
Blender recipe:
- Purchase a large container of organic “super greens” and add a bunch of parsley (Dandelion, Kale, chard etc.)
- Grapefruit juice, (organic may not be available, we like Odwalla)
- Blend for at least one minute, can be drunk over 24 hours if refrigerated but best if freshly made.
